Stanton Chase Copenhagen Announces New Joint Leadership Structure

We are pleased to announce an important leadership development within the Copenhagen office of Stanton Chase.

Following many years of close collaboration and a strong professional partnership, Christian Skaaning has been appointed Managing Partner and Equity Partner alongside Anders Nannerup.

Christian Skaaning joined Stanton Chase in 2016 and brought extensive experience in executive assessment and leadership advisory. Prior to joining Stanton Chase, he held roles at SHL/CEB and served as a Commanding Officer in the Royal Danish Navy. Since then, he has played a key role in strengthening and integrating executive assessment into the firm’s overall client offering.

This appointment represents a natural next step in the continued evolution of the Copenhagen office and reflects a clear focus on long term continuity and succession planning. Together, Christian and Anders will lead the business with a shared vision for growth, quality, and client impact.

Over the past several years, the Copenhagen team has established a strong position at the intersection of executive search, leadership advisory, and board assessment. While executive search remains a core pillar of the business, the firm has developed a distinctive capability within assessment. This includes supporting not only individual hires but also leadership teams and boards. Today, these capabilities are fully integrated into how clients are served.

The team partners with a broad range of organizations, from owner led mid sized companies to large international corporations and C level environments, both in Denmark and globally through the Stanton Chase network.

The joint leadership structure reflects how the business already operates, with close collaboration, shared accountability, and a strong commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for clients. Over time, the Copenhagen office has built a loyal client base while continuously enhancing its methodologies and delivery standards.

As part of this development, the internal leadership team has also been strengthened. It includes Carina Rosenberg Sørensen, Head of Research and Operations, and Josephine Fisker Lindhart, Head of Clients and Development. This ensures continued focus on client development, execution excellence, and scalability.
