Our Approach to AI

Our Approach to AI

Video cover

Every recommendation Stanton Chase makes comes from a person who can explain how and why it was reached.

Artificial intelligence has changed how executive search and leadership advisory firms identify talent, conduct research, and engage with markets. At Stanton Chase, we use these technologies thoughtfully and responsibly.

AI enhances the work of our consultants without replacing their expertise or their accountability.

Where Does AI Fit into an Assignment?

Everything we do is a people business, whether that is an executive search, a leadership assessment, succession planning, or a board review. The relationships our consultants build, the experience they bring, and their sector expertise remain at the heart of every assignment.

We use AI to support research, market mapping, sourcing, and administrative tasks so our consultants can spend more time advising clients and engaging with exceptional leaders. AI helps us work more efficiently without taking any part in a decision about a person.

How Do We Protect Client and Candidate Data?

Protecting client and candidate information is fundamental to everything we do.

We use AI only through carefully selected enterprise platforms that meet our stringent security, confidentiality, and data protection standards. Our use of AI is designed to comply with applicable privacy and AI regulations, including the GDPR, the EU AI Act, and other relevant local laws. We do not use client or candidate information to train public AI models or improve vendors' underlying AI systems.

You can read more about how we collect, use, and protect personal information in our Privacy Policy, and each of our offices publishes its own policy on its office location page.

Who Makes Decisions About People?

AI supports our consultants without evaluating, ranking, or selecting anyone.

Every AI-assisted output is reviewed and validated against trusted source material before it informs our advice. Decisions about who is approached, included on a longlist, shortlisted, or ultimately presented to a client are always made by experienced consultants, and the same holds for the findings of an assessment.

There is always a human responsible for every recommendation we make.

Who Is Accountable for the Advice You Receive?

Every assignment is led by an experienced Stanton Chase consultant who remains fully accountable for the advice we provide, the people we recommend, and every decision made along the way. AI assists our work without ever replacing professional responsibility.

Can You Ask Us Not to Use AI?

We believe clients should understand how technology supports their assignment.

If you would like to discuss how AI may be used, or prefer that certain tools are not used at all, we will gladly talk it through and make sure your preferences are reflected throughout the engagement.
